We’ve noticed that other bingo review sites don’t exactly make it easy on a person who is trying to find out more about online bingo. There is just too much choice and too much choice is not always a good thing.
Too many sites inundate visitors and newcomers to the game with endless promotions and reasons to play at a particular site, it can become difficult to differentiate between a good site and a bad site, why not make their lives easier by simplifying the choices down to what are clearly the best bingo sites, overall there are only about 5 bingo sites with longevity that maintain their high profiles, great offers and most of all the large crowds and vibrant community. Here’s something to support our train of thought that too much choice can’t always be good…
A study/experiment was carried out to help clear the argument about ‘choice’… In a busy Saturday market, 2 stools were set up side by side selling a variation of gourmet jams, strawberry, apricot, blackcurrant jams etc. The main difference between these jams was that one stool offered 29 flavour variations and the other only 6, the quality of the jams are the same, the method of selling was the same, the stool with the fewer jams kept the selection simple but with enough variation that a customer was not tied down to the obvious choices, whereas the stool with the wider selection had every flavour imaginable.
At the end of the day after both stools had cashed up the days earning and the number of jars sold only to find that the stool with the fewer jams had sold more jars of jam. More people had stopped by the stool with the wide selection of jams but fewer had bought anything, they simply browsed to satisfy their curiosity of all the jars of jam.
The point of this experiment was too see how people react to choice and too much of it and how it is not always a good thing. Although people stopped to browse the wider selection of jams, they seemed to struggle when making a choice. We experience it with our TV channels too, there are so many channels to chose from that it becomes too much, we’ll only focus on 5-6 channels that satisfy all our home entertainment needs. its the same with online bingo.
That is why we believe newcomers to the game should only have to chose between 3 – 6 sites to make an informed choice, instead of drowning in a world of confusion with the possibility of missing out on the experience. Not all bingo sites can be trusted, all the things a new player needs from a online bingo site can truly be found within a handful of sites. The digital age has made it far too easy for people to set up bingo sites, if they were real bingo halls there would be one on every street corner. Chasing different online bingo sites, destroys the fun for you as a player, the fun is about becoming part of the community where people know you and greet you by your first name. Chasing bingo sites is no fun, its counterproductive to your fun.
So what is the point of this and what exactly does the recession mean for bingo players? It’s simple, eventually UK bingo players will only have highly reputable site to chose from, trustworthy sites where they cannot go wrong. Sites that have survived the turbulent financial time by keeping the players best interest in mind. The smaller sites who are only in it for short term gain will suffer unless they take a leaf from the bigger more rewarding sites. This leaves the average UK online bingo player with fewer sites to chose from all of which have equally compelling offers, prizes, rewards etc. This makes life easier to newcomers of the online bingo scene.
Our aim is to provide the UK bingo market with all the latest, news, insights and sometimes personal thoughts on uk bingo including sites such as foxy bingo and wink bingo
