On October 1st 2008 Alison Hammond became the new ‘face’ of Crown Bingo. named as the face of online bingo site Crown Bingo. For the last year, she has taken part in live chats online, and players have become accustomed to her making a guest ‘vocal appearance’, calling the numbers at Crown. Despite all seeming to go well, Alison has been ‘spotted’ on the Virgin Bingo’s Facebook fan page, donning her Virgin cap (hey – if the cap fits?), playing online bingo and autographing photos… you have to admire her multi tasking abilities ; )
While to date, there has been nothing along the bingo grapevine to indicate she would be laying down her laurels in favour of the singing jalapeno, and there has yet to be anything ‘official’ announced. Indeed, this may have been a recap of when Alison appeared as a guest CM at Virgin Bingo on August 2nd 2007. In which case, somebody somewhere is getting the bingo balls all in a kurfuffle! But any which way it turns out, Alison has definitely moved on… real question is, where? Nowt wrong with a bit of speculation : )
Alison has been popping up here and there, promoting the world of online bingo for a few years now… guess it pays the bills! Moving on to Crown Bingo after providing the voice over for ITV’s Golden Balls bingo, which was powered by Party Gaming. Just in case you’re not a big ‘Reality TV’ fan! Alison Hammond was the Big Brother Roomies who notoriously broke the garden table, trying to take a look over the wall. Apart from finding fame and fortune in the world of bingo, Alison has also played a starring role in Celebrity Fit Club, and Celebrity Stars in Their Eyes. Rarely far from our television screens, whichever way the bingo balls tumble, you can be fairly sure, we will be seeing more of Alison… with or without her Crown!
