Mums swap the kids for bingo?!

It would appear online bingo is offering stressed out mums a bit of summer respite and that we all need a bit of a break from juggling the kids summer holidays with our own downtime. According to online bingo portal OnlineBingoClub, it seems that summer holidays have bought an insurgence of mums desperate for a bit of a bingo break, with a marked increase in the number of players logging in between the hours of 9am and 3pm.

Yup, it seems the school-time break has meant more mums are at home, and as a result, more are desperate to get involved with a bit of online bingo fun, especially while the kids are out and about enjoying their summer holidays at local playschemes and kids clubs. Online bingo seems to have struck a chord with mum’s for a little while now, with the group being a key target of many online bingo campaigns of late. More and more family related promos are springing up in response to this, including recent holiday giveaways at sites like Wink Bingo and the current promo at 888Ladies Bingo, which sees a year long Merlin family pass up for grabs, allowing stressed out mum’s the chance to entertain their brood at top attractions including Alton Towers, Legoland, Thorpe Park and Madame Tussauds.

And if you are no stranger to our frequent winners reports, you’ll be sure to hear stories of mum’s and dad’s that have struck big, with many using their bingo winnings to support the costs of their family as well as treat them to once in a lifetime holidays and shopping sprees. Thanks to the relative ease of online bingo, it seems to be a bit of hit for those looking for a quick break from everyday life. With round the clock action, online bingo has positioned itself as a great break no matter what time of day. In fact, it seems a busy mum can dip in and out of an online bingo site with ease – perfect for when multitasking is a given in your job description!

And as OnlineBingoClub founder Rob Hutchinson stated, the community aspect of online bingo is also a major selling feature for mums everywhere, saying,

”Some of our members have even started forum topics sharing ideas and tips about great activities for their children to try, which I think emphasizes the social aspect of the game.

“We’ve heard fantastic stories from mums who’ve won big cash prizes online and spent the money on treating their children, which is a great way to share the fun.”

Good to hear that online bingo is helping to lighten the load of our summers, and keep us ticking until September rolls around!
