Virtue Fusion Off To The Med

The name Virtue Fusion has become legendary in the world of online Bingo.  And, it’s no wonder, their portfolio is massive, including some of the top bingo operators. Mecca, Gala and Virgin Bingo being among them. They also supply the two largest sports betting operators, which are, Ladbrokes and William Hill.  Mecca and Gala are the two largest land based UK Bingo operators.  Together, they own just over forty percent of all local clubs, throughout the UK.

Mecca Bingo already has eleven established Bingo halls in Spain.  And, according to the latest reports from ‘experts’, that is definitely the right way to go. It seems that the Spanish Bingo market is destined to explode over the next few years.  With experts predicting that the number of players joining in will increase tenfold.

It’s not just Virtue Fusion who have been sniffing around on foreign shores either.  Several software providers are already looking beyond the UK market, and specifically, into the potential of Spain.  At the moment, the UK has one of the fastest growing online Bingo markets in the world. However, since 2004, around three hundred websites have been launched. Which, almost certainly, has instigated the need for new pastures.  After all, there’s only so much the great British Bingo Sponge can soak up. There will reach a point of saturation, if it hasn’t already.  Which is definitely debateable.

With that in mind, looking towards Spain, does seem a sensible thing to do. And, Virtue Fusion, already being such a big hit over here, do seem the most likely group to lead the way.  In fact, Virtue Fusion have already started the big Bingo ball rolling, and have signed a deal with Begawin.com.  They are licensed in Malta, first launched in 2007, who direct their current casino and sports betting negotiations towards Spain. Bob Mc Culloch, chief CEO for Virtue Fusion is fully aware that the Spanish online market is set to go off.  Stating that he was expecting it to “increase to around €4.2 billion by the end of 2010”.  Adding that the deal with Begawin was a “vital part of our strategy to position Virtue Fusion and our site operators as leaders in this lucrative market”. Nuff said…
