75 Ball Bingo
Online bingo is renowned for offering a variety of bingo styles, some of which may not be familiar to newcomers. The two main types are 75 and 90 ball bingo.
75 ball bingo is more popular in the US and Canada, where it is often played in bingo halls. The objective of the game is to mark off numbers on a card. In online bingo, these numbers are generated randomly, and are numbered between 1-75.
Here is a typical 75 ball bingo card..
The numbers are arranged across a 5×5 grid, sometimes with one free space in the centre. Players must cross off numbers (or daub) as they are called at random, which in online bingo, is done automatically. Depending on the room you are in, with 75 ball bingo you often have to complete certain patterns, such as letters, numbers or simple patterns and shapes. Alternatively, you may have to mark off all numbers on the card – this is known as a “coverall” game.
The first player to match the selected pattern wins the game. 75 ball can offer some really fun patterns, and often in online bingo tournaments, bingo-ing on certain patterns will offer players extra rewards, so it’s good to get some practice on 75 ball bingo!
