Our ears were recently pricked by the news that Sun Bingo have wheeled out a very special weapon in the fight to make it to the top of the online bingo world. Yup, fans of the National Lottery of yesteryear will be delighted to know that everyone’s favourite bobbed psychic, Mystic Meg, is making a resurgence via the “medium” (har har) of a side game.

So why is it that bingo and the mystical forces of luck seem to be so closely intertwined?
Well, we think it’s pretty simple. Bingo is a game of chance. Sure, there are ways to increase your chances of winning, but at the end of the day, we’d be lying if we said there was a genuine way to be “great” at beating those balls into your favour! But that’s not to say having superstitious rituals and keeping up to date with things rooted in the mystic and psychic is a bad thing. Sure enough, if everyone approached bingo with the mindset “I’m never gonna win”, well, that’d make it pretty boring eh??
