ITV Bingo’s first pop at the online bingo world was not the most successful of affairs, with the site unfortunately closing way back in April 2009. Fast forward a year and ITV Bingo
has been back for a little while now, and under the expert guidance of online bingo giant Cashcade, who run such online bingo treasures as Think Bingo, Foxy Bingo and Cheeky Bingo. ITV Bingo is definitely better than it’s ever been, but can it cut the mustard when compared to some of its stablemates?
Clear viewing is a turn on
Well, Cashcade have added the great Globalcom software, making the ITV Bingo experience one crammed with easy game play and simple to use features. Looks wise we think its pretty top notch, and makes good use of its TV routes to bring a little small screen dazzle to your everyday online bingo experience. Sign up is super easy and although the bonus offer is a little too simple for our tastes (with just a 100% bonus on your first deposit and 50% reload bonus thereafter), you’ll still find yourself warmly welcomed to ITV Bingo.
The stars of the screen – on your screen!
One of ITV Bingo’s main selling points is most certainly that it makes great use of the big names associated with ITV itself. So you get some fantastic themed bingo games including “I’m a Celebrity, Get me out of Here”, “Coronation Street” and “Emmerdale”, which allow you to catch up on the latest going’s on in these shows whilst you play. Themed prizes like VIP trips to the sets of these shows are a fantastic standout feature, and telly addicts will no doubt be happy to combine their love of TV with a bit of online bingo!
Cashcade Star or Afterthought?
Well, the bingo is pretty good, with 75 ball, 90 ball bingo games, big money pre purchase games (including a £1k whopper every Friday) and daily jackpot treats of £100 up for grabs. ITV Bingo has also kept with the changing times, offering 1TG and 2TG games, speed bingo and even the chance to play their great selection of instant wins at the same time as the bingo itself thanks to their great embedded feature. So in a way, you could say ITV Bingo has got what it takes to stand up to it’s superstar brothers and sisters.
Community is cheap – but priceless…
And we think ITV Bingo may wanna keep this in mind. Community wise we think ITV Bingo has a little room for improvement, with the main emphasis of the loyalty scheme placed on chat games (where you can scoop some sizable bonus points) and a refer a friend scheme, where you can bag a cheeky £5 for every friend you refer. It’s not bad going, and there is plenty at ITV Bingo to stop you from changing the channel.
But if we are being honest, we’d love to see a bit more in the way of giving back – whilst ITV Bingo is totally nailing it’s TV theme with some fab prizes and special games, we’d also like some of the basics such as loyalty points, VIP schemes and maybe even a few team bingo events. However, we are picky little so and so’s, and ITV Bingo is most definitely worth tuning in for!
